A Bit Of Sparkle Makes You Glow
Can you remember back to your own childhood? How did you feel when you saw the Christmas tree lit up, the Christmas lights in your town and the glittering displays in shop windows. Do you remember putting tinsel on the tree and hanging it over pictures and photos? Do you remember making homemade Christmas cards and decorations with lots of glue and glitter. Christmas time is a sparkly time.
As parents, teachers or guardians I believe we try to recreate those memories for our own children and then grandchildren, our classes, or for those in the community. That brightness and joy that it brings makes us sparkle inside and makes us want to share that sparkle around. There is nothing more moving than to see that happy sparkle full of wonder in children’s eyes.
“Let’s open a window for Christmas.
When light comes into our hearts;
Then light comes into our dark streets.”
― Sir Kristian Goldmund Aumann

A little Christmas sparkle (Christmas song) by John Nandy https://www.abctales.com/story/well-wisher/little-christmas-sparkle-christmas-song 1. The stars are diamonds in the sky that gleam as Santa's sleigh goes by; the moons a lustrous pearl that glows and turns to silver, all below. 2. Against the dark and snow and cold, small windows glow like squares of gold and, within every house, a pine tree wrapped in twinkling tinsel shines. Chorus: And it puts a little Christmas sparkle deep within your heart when you hear the sound of sleighbells tinkle and the Christmas music starts and you feel a sort of Yuletide glow as you look out and you see the snow and it feels like such a magic time when the whole world seems to gleam and shine. 3. And underneath each mistletoe a blissful Christmas kiss will glow and 'cause of all the yuletide cheer you'll see smiles glow from ear to ear. 4. And brightest of the Christmas lights are children's eyes filled with delight and childrens smiles like jewels of joy as they unwrap their Christmas toys.
Great!
